  Eastern High School Announcements

*Students in grades 7^th thru 10^th….We are going to Costa Rica in 2027!  There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, January 29.  See Mrs. Larson for more details.

*Reminder for any boy that is playing volleyball, you need to bring your money to the

high school office.

*Grab some friends and join the library in a game of Pictionary, today from 3:00-4:00.  Sketch and guess your way to the top.

*TRACK AND FIELD CONDITIONING IS CANCELLED FOR THURSDAY.

*There will be a Boys Varsity Golf Callout meeting on January 24 at 3:15 in Mr. Lamb’s classroom.

*The High School Student Council will be having dress-up days for homecoming next week! The dress up days are as follows:

*Monday: Neon Day

*Tuesday: Western (yee-haw)

*On Wednesdays, we wear pink”

*Thursday: Students Dress as Teachers, Teacher Dress and Students

*Friday: Green and Gold!

*The High School Student Council will be hosting a Winter Homecoming/Semi-Formal Dance on Saturday, February 1, from 7-10pm in the High School Cafeteria! Tickets will be $10 and will go on sale before school tomorrow in the cafeteria.  Tickets can be purchased throughout the day from Mrs. Nibert’s room (room 101). Ticket sales will end the following Thursday, January 30. Anyone wanting to bring a date from another school/not a current Eastern Student will need to pick up a guest permission form in the high school office. This dance is for high school students only! If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Nibert.

*Both the boys and girls swim teams picked up victories over Carroll and Delphi last night in a three way meet at Carroll.  First place finishes came from Ava Kantz, Haven Gunderson, Makenzie Appleton, Obi Greene, Amos Greene, Ethan Heck, Grant Kerns, Caden Kerns, and Trenton Smith.  The girls 200 Free and 400 Free Relay teams also picked up wins, while the boys swept all three relays! Great job Comets!

*Attention Baseball Players.  Thursday’s open gym has been moved to today.  We will meet in the Fieldhouse on Court 2 at 7:00 PM.

*Middle School Fellowship of Christian students will meet Thursday after school in Ms. Carpenter’s classroom. All middle school students are welcome to attend.

*All high school and middle school practices are cancelled for today.  All athletic facilities will be closed immediately after school.

* *Students have until Monday, January 13^th at 3 p.m. to request a schedule change.  Mrs. Slee sent out a link on Tuesday to request a schedule change.  After the request date no schedules will be changed.

* If you did not receive your report card Tuesday during your 7th period, please see Mrs. Koziel in the Guidance Office.

*This Wednesday will be our annual Ugly Christmas sweater competition for staff and students.  There will be one winner per grade level and staff prizes.  Have Fun and Merry Christmas.

*Please check the lost and found if you are missing anything. This area will be cleaned out over Christmas break.
