2025-2026 Registration Information

ON-SITE REGISTRATION FOR NEW STUDENTS:

Thursday, July 17, 2025        10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

New students and their parent/guardian representative should report to the building that the student will attend.

ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR RETURNING STUDENTS also available Thursday, July 17th through the beginning of school.

Returning students are expected to register online.  If you have no home access, the public libraries are available to you for registration.

ALL STUDENTS SHOULD BE REGISTERED BEFORE SCHOOL BEGINS!

With the passage of HEA 1001-2023, Indiana school corporations are prohibited from charging fees for
curricular materials.  This action by the state legislature will require school corporations to adjust their
approach to buying and utilizing curricular materials going forward.  For the 25-26 school year, EHSC
will implement a per student fee for grades 1-12 of $36.80 (This fee is still being calculated for the new school year and is subject to change) to cover the costs of non-curricular expenses
that the corporation has absorbed in the past.

Note: All iPads for the 2025 school year and beyond are insured against breakage and there are no longer any separate enrollments or fees to participate. If your student attends Eastern, the insurance is already attached to the issued device.

*The spring musical is “Bye Bye Birdie”. Performances will be March 14 at 7:30pm and March 15 at 4:30pm.

or may be purchased at the door.
You won’t want to miss this hilarious musical comedy!

*Congratulations to the Encore Singers and Starlets for receiving GOLD at the ISSMA Show Choir Contest this past Saturday!!!
Thanks for your hard work and dedication in bringing home these contest results!

*Middle School Girls Soccer will have practice today at the fields.  Meet in the cafeteria at 3:20 and we will walk to the fields together.

*Attention middle school students. FCS will meet on Thursday after school for fellowship and fun in Ms. Carpenter’s room.

*Attention all high school softball players, practice will be on field one today.

*”If you earned a letter jacket this winter, please stop by the Athletic Office on Tuesday, March 11, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to be sized for your jacket. The payment for your jacket is due at the time of sizing.

If you THINK you should be earning a jacket but didn’t receive a letter about it, please see Mrs. Woodall.”

*There will be a call out meeting for boys and girls middle school track after school in the cafeteria on Thursday, March 6th at 3:30p. We will have a parent meeting on March 12th.

*Middle School boys’ soccer will be having tryouts today right after school until 5:00 at the High School soccer fields.

*TECH Week for the musical “Bye Bye Birdie” begins tonight!
All Cast and Stage Crew need to be in the PAC by 5:00!

*Nichole King was the only orchestra student to qualify for ISSMA State Solo & Ensemble contest this year, where she won a gold medal Saturday. Make sure to congratulate her when you see her today, and ask her, “What is a viola anyway?”

*The Comet Command would like to celebrate students who received Gold this past weekend for the State Solo and Ensemble contest held at North Central HS.  These students will be recognized on Wednesday as State Solo winners.  Great job to Claire Rush, William Kuntz, Makayla Armstrong and Porter Stone!

*Attention all baseball players.  This week’s open gym schedule is Monday 3:30-5:30, Tuesday 3:30-5:00, and Thursday 3:30-5:30. Be prepared to go outside or inside.

*Walk A Mile Participants: CONGRATULATIONS!

Eastern won the pink shoe trophy again, beating out Taylor, Western, Northwestern and Lewis Cass.  Everyone should have received their T-shirts.  We will make an announcement later for a group photo for the Rescue Mission website.

*There will be a call out meeting on Tuesday, March 3 during lunches for any Middle School boy or girl interested in golf.

*Middle School FCS will be meeting today right after school in Ms. Carpenter’s room. All middle school students are invited to join us for fellowship and fun!

*Students going to Rome Paris and Madrid with Mrs. Larson should meet in Mrs. Larson’s room at 7:50am on Friday morning regarding rooming arrangements.
