*Come join us for prayer and donuts on Wednesday morning of finals week.  We will meet at 7:45 before school and anyone is welcome to attend!  Come pray for your families, school, country and those in need!

*All HINDS and KACC students need to be sure to check their emails.  Mrs. Slee sent you an email regarding Finals.

*There will be a callout for any middle school girl interested in softball on Tuesday, December 16^th @ 3:30 in the cafeteria.

*The girls swim team picked up a win against Northwestern last night! The final score was 101-79! There were some excellent swims last night and great time drops! First place finishes came individually from Audrey Higgins in both her events. The 200 Medley Relay team of Mackenzie Appleton, Kaylee Singleton, Raygan McClain, and the 200 Free Relay of Mackenzie Appleton, Jocelyn Rogers, Aubrey Ramer, and Audrey Higgins also picked up wins! Great job, ladies!

*There will be a Sunshine Club meeting on Wednesday December 17th at 7:45 in Ms. Meadors room.

*MS Student Council will be meeting in Ms. Warnock’s room today from 3:15-4:00 to discuss the next dance, dress up days and fundraiser ideas.

*The Choral Christmas Concert is Wednesday, December 10 at 7:00pm. The concert theme is a “Timeless Christmas” as the choirs are travelling through time on the Chrono Caroler 3000 Time Machine. Come join us as we celebrate the Christmas season. Tickets may be purchased at kepac.ludus.com All seats are $5 and reserved seating.

*The Eastern Girls Varsity Soccer off-season conditioning program is underway.  Practices are open to all middle school and high school athletes who are interested in joining the team next year.  Practices are held each day after school from 5-6 in the weight room. Reach out to Captain Avaleigh Coffman for more information.

*Attention all prospective baseball players not involved in a winter sport.  There will be a short meeting on Thursday after school in the cafeteria to go over winter workout opportunities.  If you have any questions or can’t make the meeting, please see Coach Hisner in the Athletic Office.

*Middle School FCS will meet tomorrow, December 4 right after school in Ms. Carpenter’s room. Middle school students are welcome to join us.

*There will be a call out meeting for any 8^th grade girl interested in basketball on Monday, November 24^th @ 6:00 in the cafeteria.

*The Lady Comets swim team added another victory to their record last night when they beat Pioneer with a score of 101-64.First place finishes came from Haven Gunderson, Raygan McClain, Jocelyn Rogers, and Kaylee Singleton.  The Lady Comets also picked up the win in the 200 and 400 Free Relays. Along with the win, the girls also posted 13 season best times overall.  Great job, Ladies!

*Did you know that Jane Austen’s 250th birthday is this year? Come see Drama Club’s production of “Pride and Prejudice” by Jane Austen. Tickets are on sale at https://kepac.ludus.com/. The show will be a wonderful opportunity to support your friends.

*Starting November 20th after school, Coach Donson will be hosting Track and Field conditioning on Tuesdays and Thursdays right after school until 4:30 for high school athletes. If you are not in a winter sport and plan on running track this year, please come out, bring your friends, and get some work in!!

*There will be a call out meeting for any 8^th grade girl interested in basketball on Monday, November 24^th @ 6:00 in the cafeteria.

*The Lady Comets Swim Team opened their season with a victory over the Blackford Bruins! The final score was 120-48.  First place finishes were picked up by Ava Ramberger, Raygan McClain, Haven Gunderson, Jocelyn Rogers, Audrey Higgins, and Mackenzie Appleton.  The Lady Comets also swept all three relays! Great job, Ladies! The Comets swim at home on Thursday against Pioneer! Come out and support your Lady Comet Swim and Dive team!
