Eastern High School Announcements

 “The high school softball parent meeting will be held this Thursday December 1^st at 6:30pm in the cafeteria.”

Thursday December 1^st will be a homeroom day. KACC students please plan accordingly. Seniors interested in the December Scholarship list need to report to the PAC and those not interested need to report to their assigned homeroom teacher.

Spanish Club will have a short meeting on Thursday morning in Mrs. Larson’s room at 7:55am.  We will be discussing our 2 fundraisers next week.

There will be a call-out meeting for all middle school students interested in swimming or diving on Wednesday, Dec. 7^th after school in the cafeteria.

“Attention all baseball players.  There will be a call out meeting this Friday at 3:15 in the cafeteria.  We will discuss winter open gyms and hand out schedules.  If you can’t attend, please contact Coach Hisner.”

Greentown Girls Softball League, along with Coach Matlock, will be holding a call-out meeting for all 6th, 7^th and 8^th grade girls and their parents who are interested in playing softball in the Spring.  The meeting will be held today November 29^th at 6pm in the HS cafeteria.

There will be an informational meeting call out today from 5-8 in the band room for all of

those interested in Winter Guard.  At this meeting information will be given about the upcoming

season and what to expect.  You will also be doing exercises and techniques specific for this

activity so please make sure to dress appropriately.  See you there

Greentown Girls Softball League, along with Coach Matlock, will be holding a call-out meeting for all 6th, 7^th and 8^th grade girls and their parents who are interested in playing softball in the Spring.  The meeting will be held tomorrow November 29^th at 6pm in the HS cafeteria.

The EHS Drama Department presents Every Baby-Sitter’s Nightmare.  There are three opportunities to catch the show: Friday the 18th at 7:00, Saturday the 19th at 2:00 and then again at 7:00.  Tickets can be purchased at eastern.booktix.com or at the door for $8.00.

 

There will be a Sunshine Club meeting on Friday November 18^th @ 7:45 am in Ms. Meador’s room.

The Lady Comets Swim Team picked up a narrow victory over Blackford for their season opener last night.  The Comets won the meet with a score of 94 to 82.  Individual first place finishes were picked up by Ava Kantz, Grace VanBibber, Becky Crabtree, and Johanna Hanneken.  The Comets also won the 200 Medley and 400 Freestyle Relays! Way to go, ladies!

For any boy or girl, grade 5^th-8^th, interested in Middle School wrestling- we will be starting wrestling practice next Monday, November 14^th from 5-7 in the gym.
