Attention Juniors and Seniors – A representative from Ball State University will be at Eastern on Thursday, September 14 at 1:45. If you would like to learn more about Ball State, please sign up with Mrs. Koziel in the Guidance Office by Wednesday, September 13.
Wednesday will be a homeroom day, KACC students please plan accordingly.
ALL Choir Guys-Rehearsal tonight will be from 6:30-7:30.
Middle School Student council will have their next meeting tomorrow Wednesday the 13th after school.
Fall on into the library for the reading program. Pick up your BINGO card and start reading to earn prizes. Don’t delay, this program only runs through Sept. 22.
High schoolers- we are going to Rome, Paris, and Madrid spring break of 2025. If you are interested in information about the trip, see Mrs. Larson or email her by Sept. 13.
Spanish Club- We will be preparing for Hispanic Heritage Month at our next meeting. If you haven’t signed up for Spanish Club and want to be a member, here is your second chance! Come to our meeting Wed., Sept 13 from 3:15-4:00. If you want to be a member and cannot attend, email, or see Mrs. Larson this week.
The library will be hosting a checker tournament on Thursday, Sept 14 after school. Please sign up in the library to join the tournament. Snacks will be provided.

Any students interested in participating in Key Club this year, our first meeting will be held this Friday morning at 7:30AM in Mr. Mink’s room. Please contact Mr. Mink if unable to come.
The Boy’s tennis team brought the HHC conference championship home when defeating Taylor by the score of 5-0 on Senior night. It has been 20 years since the boys’ tennis team has won a conference championship, so this is a really big deal!
The Comets swept the singles without dropping a game! Winners included Luke Laubenstein, Colton Lindsay, and Blake Farkas.
The doubles also won in straight sets dropping a total of only 5 games in the process. Victorious were the doubles teams of Sam Torivo/Parker Rogers and Jase Cloum/J.T. Atherton.
