RETURN TO PAID LUNCH FOR 2022-23

Lunches have returned to traditional Paid/Reduced/Free. If your students are not currently on a free or reduced lunch program, please add funds to your student’s eFunds lunch account as soon as possible >> here <<. See below for additional information.

2022-23 meal prices are as follows:

Lunch: $2.95 for middle and high school students
Lunch: $2.70 for elementary students
Lunch (reduced): $0.40 for all schools
Breakfast: FREE for all students beginning this school year.

ON-SITE REGISTRATION FOR NEW STUDENTS:

Thursday, July 20, 2023        10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

New students and their parent/guardian representative should report to the building that the student will attend.

ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR RETURNING STUDENTS also available Thursday, July 20th through the beginning of school.

Returning students are expected to register online.  If you have no home access, the public libraries are available to you for registration.

Summer Meals for Students – Info

Eastern Howard School Corporation will not be providing meals this summer. Here is how to find alternatives:

USDA

USDA meal programs for children operate all summer! To find the nearest summer meal site, call 211 or text ‘Summer Meals’ (English) or ‘Verano’ (Spanish) to 914-342-7744. Households in need of assistance any time of the year can call the USDA National Hunger Hotline at 866-3-HUNGRY to speak with a representative who will find resources, such as summer meal sites, food banks, and other nearby social services.

FCC Emergency Broadband Benefit

Beginning May 12, 2021, eligible households will be able to enroll in the FCC’s program to receive a monthly discount off the cost of broadband service from an approved provider. Eligible households can enroll through an approved provider or by visiting https://getemergencybroadband.org.

The FCC’s Emergency Broadband Benefit will provide a discount of up to $50 per month towards broadband service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price.

The Emergency Broadband Benefit is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household.
