  • It time for our annual Ugly Christmas sweater/outfit contest! Be creative because there will be prizes for the ugliest sweater/outfit for each grade, 9-12!  Let’s have fun with this and wear your most festive, ugliest outfit on Wednesday, December 18! 

 

 

Announcement: December 16, 17,, 18, 19, 20:  All information concerning the

spring musical, “Mary Poppins” is posted in the choir hallway. Check out all the possibilities

for you to be involved in this year’s production. Student Director and Stage Manager

applications are due December 18. 

 

 

·         Junior Officers:  Plan to meet on Tuesday morning in Mrs. Eikenberry’s room at 7:40.

   
 

 

  • Join our high school band and orchestra for a Christmas concert tonight at 7pm in the PAC. Tickets are $4 and may be purchased online or at the door.
  • Wrestling Team has pictures Tuesday after practice. Please make sure you have your singlet for the picture!

  • Tomorrow, Thursday (12/12/19), HS art club will have their final meeting of the semester from 3:30 to 4:30. Make sure you are there to get important upcoming information.

 

  • Optional Softball practice for girls in grades 9-12 planning to play softball this year. Practice will be Thursday this week from 6pm-8pm in the batting cages. Hope to see you there!

 

  • Please read 12/11 and 12/12 – Attention Seniors:  If you are planning to apply for the Howard County School Employees Federal Credit Union, please stop in the Guidance Office, there is a page missing from your packet that you will need.

Initiated by EHS band alums to honor Chuck and Joann Whorwell, this fund is committed to enhancing a culture of fine musicianship at Eastern High School.  Its goal is to make instruments more available and affordable and to provide for special clinics and instruction.  In 2016 grant funds were used to purchase two trumpets, and in 2017 nearly $1,000 was granted to purchase two flutes and one clarinet.

As of August 2017 the fund total was $30,100.  Continued donations to this fund will make even larger grants possible year after year.
