Eastern High School Announcements

* School pictures will be this Friday August 23^rd. KACC students please make sure to get your photo taken. If you did not receive an order form in your English class, you may pick one up in the high school office.

*Any high school girl interested in playing basketball this year, please stop by Coach Nile’s classroom and sign up. Signups will be up through Friday.

*Attention International Comets who are traveling with Ms. Carpenter and Mr. Stites to Italy, Greece, Scotland and England.
There will be a brief meeting this Wednesday, August 21 right after morning announcements outside of Ms. Carpenter’s room in the hall.

*Seniors, your deposit for the senior trip is due today. Don’t forget to get your deposit to Mr. Heck or Mrs. Eikenberry if you’re wanting to go.

*There will be a Science Club callout meeting on Friday August 16th at 7:45 in Ms. Meador’s room.

*Any students interested in participating in Key Club this year, our first meeting will be held this Friday morning at 7:30AM in Mr. Mink’s room. Please contact Mr. Mink if unable to come.

*  Are you a student who loves technology? Do you love to tinker? Do you like to make stuff? If this is you, please come to the Middle School Tech Club Fridays after school from 3:15 to 4:15PM. We will meet this Friday right after school downstairs in Mr. Mink’s room 317. See Mr. Mink if you are not able to attend the meeting.

*Wrestling open mats for this evening are cancelled. We will resume on Monday.

*High School and Middle School students, if you are interested in the Spanish language or culture, be a part of this year’s Spanish Club! No Spanish experience is needed.  We are meeting today at 3:15 in Mrs. Larson’s room to discuss a fun year full of celebrations, field trips and of course FOOD.  See you after school.

*Ever see yourself on stage? Want to be in the spotlight? Drama Club is having a call out meeting today @ 5:30 in the PAC. We will be announcing the school play this year. Anyone from 7th-12th grade can participate. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Maxwell. Parents and guardians are invited.

*There will be a Sunshine Club callout meeting on Thursday August 15th at 7:45 in Ms. Meador’s room.

*Seniors – anyone who is even remotely interested in going on the senior trip this year, there will be a meeting tonight at 8 pm in the cafeteria. We will announce the dates, the costs, and some really great things we’re doing for the first time this year. Please plan to attend and parents are encouraged to come. 8 pm in the cafeteria tonight.

*HS students:  the last day to request a possible schedule change is Thursday, Aug 8 at 3:00 p.m.  You must complete the form that Mrs. Slee and Mr. Johnson emailed on the 1st day of school to be called down to discuss this with them.

*Middle School tennis will NOT have practice tonight.

Practice will start tomorrow after school.
