*Any boy interested in powderpuff volleyball, we will have our practices today and Wednesday. 9th and 11th grade will be from 6-7 and 10th and 12th grade from 7-8. The cost is $5 per player. The games will be held on Saturday the 28th from 6-9.
*Basketball Cheerleading camp and tryouts will be in the Field House the 17th thru the 19th from 5p-7p!
*Attention Juniors and Seniors – A representative from Purdue University will be at Eastern on Thursday, September 19th, at 10:30. If you would like to learn more about Purdue University, please sign up with Mrs. Koziel in the Guidance Office by Tuesday, September 17th.

If you would like to learn more about Purdue University School of Engineering, please sign up with Mrs. Koziel in the Guidance Office by Thursday, September 19th.
*On Saturday, the girls’ cross-country team placed 10th in the Maconaquah Invitational. Marly Coan led the team with her season-best time of 27:51 to finish in 64th place. Alivia Kinney also put in a season-best finish in 28:31. Good job, Comets!
On Saturday, the boys cross country team placed 12th in the Maconaquah Invitational. Obi Greene was the team’s top finisher, with a season-best time of 16:56 to place 6th. Jakob Bertoline also posted a season-best time of 19:26 to place 50th. Good job, Comets!
*The Comet Command traveled to Northwestern HS this past Saturday and scored another win for the season. This week they will travel to Noblesville and perform at 4:45 at the high school. Way to go Comet Command!
*The Lady Comets Golf are Conference Champions! The Comets shot a 399 to come away with a 4-shot victory. The Comets were led by Junior Teagan Bedwell with a 96, followed by Sophomore Sophie Kretz with a 100, Junior Kaitlynne Degraaff with a 101, Junior Alaina Schemehorne with a 102, and Sophomore Brynn Shepherd with a 109. The girls also brought home some extra hardware with Teagan Bedwell (4th overall), Sophie Kretz (8th overall), Kaitlynne Degraaff (9th overall), and Alaina Schemehorne (10th overall) all receiving all conference honors. Brynn Shepherd placed 14th overall receiving all conference honorable mention.
*Tomorrow the 17th and Wednesday the 18th we will be on a homeroom schedule. KACC students please plan accordingly.
