*Eastern High School Driver’s Education Enrollment forms can be picked up in the High School office. Forms must be returned by March 21 to the High School Office. If you have any questions, you can email Ms. Carpenter or Mr. Bedwell.
*There will be a call out meeting for boys and girls middle school track on Wednesday, March 5th during middle school lunches and after school in the cafeteria on Thursday, March 6th at 3:30p.
*Middle School boys’ soccer will be having tryouts today right after school until 5:00 at the High School soccer fields.
*TECH Week for the musical “Bye Bye Birdie” begins tonight!
All Cast and Stage Crew need to be in the PAC by 5:00!
*Nichole King was the only orchestra student to qualify for ISSMA State Solo & Ensemble contest this year, where she won a gold medal Saturday. Make sure to congratulate her when you see her today, and ask her, “What is a viola anyway?”
*The Comet Command would like to celebrate students who received Gold this past weekend for the State Solo and Ensemble contest held at North Central HS. These students will be recognized on Wednesday as State Solo winners. Great job to Claire Rush, William Kuntz, Makayla Armstrong and Porter Stone!
*Attention all baseball players. This week’s open gym schedule is Monday 3:30-5:30, Tuesday 3:30-5:00, and Thursday 3:30-5:30. Be prepared to go outside or inside.
*Middle School baseball tryouts will be on March 6th from 530-730 in the fieldhouse. Players should register for tryouts using the link on the EMS baseball Facebook page.
*Walk A Mile Participants: CONGRATULATIONS!
Eastern won the pink shoe trophy again, beating out Taylor, Western, Northwestern and Lewis Cass. Everyone should have received their T-shirts. We will make an announcement later for a group photo for the Rescue Mission website.
*There will be a call out meeting on Tuesday, March 3 during lunches for any Middle School boy or girl interested in golf.
