The Lady Comets Swim Team picked up a narrow victory over Blackford for their season opener last night. The Comets won the meet with a score of 94 to 82. Individual first place finishes were picked up by Ava Kantz, Grace VanBibber, Becky Crabtree, and Johanna Hanneken. The Comets also won the 200 Medley and 400 Freestyle Relays! Way to go, ladies!
The EHS Drama Department presents Every Baby-Sitter’s Nightmare. There are three opportunities to catch the show: Friday the 18th at 7:00, Saturday the 19th at 2:00 and then again at 7:00. Tickets can be purchased at eastern.booktix.com or at the door for $8.00.
There will be a Sunshine Club meeting on Friday November 18th @ 7:45 am in Ms. Meador’s room.
This is a reminder to NJHS members. There will be a meeting after school today in Ms. Secrest’s room from 315-4. Please contact Ms. Secrest if you are unable to attend.
“There will be an informational meeting call out on Nov. 29th from 5-8 in the band room for all of those interested in Winter Guard. At this meeting information will be given about the upcoming season and what to expect. You will also be doing exercises and techniques specific for this activity so please make sure to dress appropriately. See you there!”
