  Eastern High School Announcements

  Wednesday, October 2, 2024

*It’s Hispanic Heritage Month!  From Sept. 15-Oct. 15, we celebrate Hispanic and Latino history and culture and recognize the achievements of Hispanics and Latinos. Spanish Club is celebrating this month, and we are inviting the middle school and high school students of Eastern to participate with some trivia questions and prizes this month.

Each morning until fall break, we will ask a trivia question.  Find the answer and write it on a piece of paper with your full name and the grade you are in.  You will turn in this paper to Mrs. Larson’s room by the end of your lunch period.  At the end of the day, one name from each grade with the proper answer will be drawn for each grade level.  Those people will win a snack prize that can be picked up in Mrs. Larson’s room.  Winners will be announced at the end of the day.

Here is today’s question:

Ruben Dario- a poet, and Bianca Jagger – wife of Mick Jagger, are from what Central American country?

Turn in your answer with your full name and grade to your shoe box in Mrs. Larson’s Room… by the end of your lunch period. Buena suerte!
