Eastern High School Announcements

*Spanish Club:

You have a great opportunity to serve your community!  We will be serving lunch at the Rescue Mission on Saturday, April 26, from 10:45am-12:45pm.  Let Mrs. Larson know by Wednesday if you can participate.

*Come join us for prayer on April 17th.  That is the Thursday morning before Easter.  We will meet prior to school at the flagpole at 7:45am and will pray for our schools, country, friends, family, or anyone in need.

*The free sports physical night will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Taylor High School (please enter Door 16 by the tennis courts). This is for all CURRENT 6th through 11th grade students. The sports physical packets are on light pink paper and are available for pickup at the MS, HS, or Athletic Offices. Copies of the packets will also be available at Taylor on Wednesday or on Eastern’s website.

*Come out and join Eastern Cheerleading. Clinic nights will be May 13th from 5-6 pm and May 14th from 5-7 pm. Tryouts will be May 17th @ 4pm for 6^th-12^th graders. You can sign up in the high school office.

*Eastern High students, the students from FCA are putting on a Good Friday worship program on April 18th! This will be an event for students to come together for worship, fellowship, and prayer. The event will be held in the Karol Evenson Performing Arts Center at 7:00 PM and will be open to all. Please feel free to come and bring your friends!

*There will be a mandatory meeting for all students who have enrolled in drivers education this year on Friday, April 11 at 7:45AM in the cafeteria. If you ride a bus that drops off later than 7:45, please come directly to the cafeteria for the meeting.

If you have not turned in the form confirming the 1st day class, please get those forms in by Thursday.

*The girls softball game has been canceled for tonight. Practice will be in the fieldhouse @ 330.

*There will be a Sunshine Club meeting in Ms. Meador’s room on Thursday April 17, 2025, at 7:45 a.m.

*There will be NO middle school FCS this week.

*Auditions for next year’s Encore Singers and Starlets will be held Thursday, April 17 beginning at 3:45. Students wishing to audition must attend a Clinic Night on Wednesday, April 9. If you have questions about auditioning, please check with Mrs. Evenson.

*Attention Middle School girls soccer players:  The game tonight has been Cancelled.  Practice will be today from 3:30-5 in the elementary gym.

*Seniors: Make sure to get your senior fling ticket purchased, and the money turned in by Thursday at 3 to be entered into the $50 drawing. The winner will be announced Friday morning over the announcements. After spring break tickets will be $35.

*Bus #23 will be bus #4 this afternoon.

*Congratulations to the Varsity and JV Boys volleyball team on their first win of the season. Great Job.
