 Friday February 9, 2024

*If you are earning a letter jacket this winter, please stop by the Athletic Office on Monday, Feb. 12, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to be sized for your jacket. The payment for your jacket is due at the time of sizing.

If you THINK you should be earning a jacket but didn’t receive a letter about it, please see Mrs. Woodall in the Athletic Department.”

* The Eastern Key Club will be hosting a valentine’s lip sucker sale from now until the end of next week. They are being sold for one dollar each and proceeds are going towards the Walk A Mile Fundraiser. Stop by their table in the cafeteria during lunch to get yours! Buy something sweet for your sweet tooth or your sweetie!

Your J. Edwards products are in! Please stop by Mrs. Nibert’s room to pick up your orders.

* “It’s time to add dodgeball back to your calendars. The rescheduled dates for our Dodgeball Duels are Tuesday February 20th for the Middle School division, and the High School Division will be Thursday February 22nd.  Both events will begin at 6pm. Teams can include both students and teachers, so get your teams together and be sure to turn in your forms no later than Monday February 19th. Forms may be picked up in the athletic office.”

*Attention Middle school girls soccer players.  There will be a meeting right after school in the cafeteria on Monday, February 12.  Please plan to attend.

*Tuesday, February 13th will be a homeroom day. All sophomores will report to the cafeteria and junior GIRLS will report to the PAC.

*High school students who are interested in this year’s stage crew for the musical, there will be a call out meeting Wednesday, February 14th in the choir room at 3:30.

 Tuesday February 6, 2024

*Middle school grades 6-8, boys’ and girls’ soccer callout today, right after school, in the cafeteria, registration forms also available in the middle school office.

*Any high school girl interested in participating in Track and Field this spring:  there will be a callout meeting today, at 3:30 IN THE CAFETERIA!
If you can’t make the meeting, but would like to participate, please see Mrs. Kantz in room 211 upstairs for a season calendar and other info.  Our season officially begins Monday, Feb. 12th!”

*Wednesday February 7th will be the official boys track call out meeting. Please plan to attend to receive important information regarding the season. Official practice begins on Monday February 12th.

*This is National School Counselor Week!  This special week honors school counselors for the important role they play in college and career readiness and in helping students examine their talents, strengths, abilities, and interests. Please take a minute to thank Mrs. Slee, Mr. Johnson and Mrs. Anderson for all they do for you.  They all are very special people and work extremely hard for all students.

*We are painting Spanish tiles and assembling puzzles!  Today and Wed. stay after school to work on a tile or puzzle.  Snacks will be provided but bring your own drink. We will meet from 3:10-4pm on those 2 days.

*Middle school grades 6-8, boys’ and girls’ soccer callout on February 6th, right after school, in the cafeteria, registration forms also available in the middle school office

You should have gotten a J. Edwards fundraiser form in your English class on Tuesday. Your prom ticket price is determined by how many products you sell. If you did not get an order form, please stop by Mrs. Bickel’s room to get one. All orders and money are due by Tuesday, January 30th.

*Middle School Baseball for 7th and 8th grade students will be hosting open gyms on Saturday January 27th from 12-2, Tuesday February 6th from 6-8 and Tuesday February 13th from 6-8. Please come in through the Auxiliary entrance to the school.

*There will be a Sunshine Club meeting in Ms. Meador’s room on Thursday February 1st at 7:50.

*If you are interested in MS Track and didn’t sign up, please see Mrs. Thomas in room 303. MS Track conditioning will start after school on Thursday, February 1.
