*On Wednesday, December 11^th from 7-9 pm in the fieldhouse, the softball team will be hosting this year’s dodgeball tournament fundraiser for all high school and middle school students. Those interested in getting a team together need to pick up an information flyer from Mrs. Woodall in the athletic office.

*7th grade girls basketball callout will be NEXT WEDNESDAY, December 4th, at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria.

*Attention Juniors and Seniors – A representative from IU Kokomo will be at Eastern on Monday, December 2nd at 10:30.   If you would like to learn more about IU Kokomo, please sign up with Mrs. Koziel in the Guidance Office by Tuesday, November 26^th.

*There will be a 6^th grade girls’ basketball callout meeting today @ 6pm in the cafeteria. Athletes (and your parents), please attend this meeting to get information about the upcoming sports season!

*How do you judge if someone is a murderer or not? What if they were a teenage boy? Everyone is invited to do so at Drama Club’s show of the academy award winning “12 Angry Jurors.” Buy tickets ahead of time or at the door for 8 dollars. It is tonight at 7 pm and tomorrow at 4 pm. You won’t want to miss this!

*Reminder, SADD club is meeting in the cafeteria today at 330 to make the candy grams”

*Attention Juniors and Seniors – A representative from IU Kokomo will be at Eastern on Monday, December 2nd at 10:30.   If you would like to learn more about IU Kokomo, please sign up with Mrs. Koziel in the Guidance Office by Tuesday, November 26^th.

*The Lady Comets swim team opened their season with a big win over Blackford last night! The final score was 104-65! The Lady Comets took home first place finishes in 11 out of the 12 events and even had an exciting 1-2-3 finish in the 100 backstroke! First place finishes came from: Ava Kantz, Raygan McClain, Audrey Higgins, Jocelyn Rogers, Abby Vawter, and  Makenzie Appleton. The girls had some great swims last night, and are looking forward to improving at Pioneer on Thursday! Great job, Lady Comets!!

*High School and Middle School Girls Soccer conditioning starts tonight, from 7:30 to 8:30pm in the Auxiliary Gym.  If you are interested in joining this amazing group of girls, come on out and meet the team.  All participants must have a current physical on file. Invite your friends, grab your gym shoes, and we’ll see you at 7:30!

*Send your friends, teachers, or any school staff a little treat right before Thanksgiving to let them know you are thankful for them! SADD club is selling candy grams for only $1 each. Grab a Turkey Gram form from the stage during your lunch, fill it out, and turn it into the front office with the money attached. Please have correct change. Candy grams will be sold Nov. 18th-22nd and delivered during 7th period on Nov. 26^th.

*Today the Middle School Fellowship of Christian Students will meet after school until 3:55. There is a late bus for students who need to ride the bus. We will meet in Ms. Carpenter’s room for fellowship and snacks.

*The comets take on Adam’s Central tomorrow for the regional championship game! Please make sure to sign up in the high school office by the end of the school day Friday, if you’re interested in taking the bus. It will leave from the student entrance doors at 5:00. Tickets are $10 and sold online or at the door. Hope to see all of you there!
