*Eastern High School Driver’s Education Enrollment forms can be picked up in the High School office. Forms must be returned by March 21 to the High School Office. If you have any questions, you can email Ms. Carpenter or Mr. Bedwell.

*The boys swim team had an incredible night at sectional prelims last night at Carmel! Every single swimmer dropped time in all of their individual events! Caden Kerns qualified to swim in the consolation finals in the 200 individual medley and the 500 free.  Grant Kerns qualified for consolation finals in the 50 free, and finished 8th in the 100 free to qualify for championship finals.  The 200 Free and 400 Free relay teams of Evan Lapp, Ethan Heck, Caden Kerns, and Grant Kerns also qualified for championship finals.  The boys are set to have a great day on Saturday! Congrats, boys!

*Middle school soccer call out meeting for both girls and boys will be today after school. The deadline to sign up has been extended until February 28.

*Eastern High School Driver’s Education Enrollment forms can be picked up in the High School office. Forms must be returned by March 21 to the High School Office. If you have any questions, you can email Ms. Carpenter or Mr. Bedwell.

*Middle School International Comets who are traveling to Rome and Greece on Spring Break, need to meet for a quick meeting on Friday, February 21, at 8AM right outside Ms. Carpenter’s room.

*There will be NO fellow of Christian students for middle school today!

*Reminder that Senior Fling tickets are on sale in Mrs. Eikenberry’s room.

*Middle school soccer call out meeting for both girls and boys has been moved to Thursday February 20. The deadline to sign up has been extended until February 28.

*Happy Thumb Appreciation Day! Yes, it’s a real thing. Celebrate this important holiday by purchasing a sucker from the Eastern Key Club.  Suckers are being sold for one dollar each and proceeds are going towards the Walk A Mile Fundraiser and other community outreach efforts.  Stop by the Key Club table in the cafeteria during lunch to get yours today! Buy thumbthing thweet for thumbody!

*Everyone participating in Walk A Mile this year:

There is a mandatory meeting on Wednesday morning in Mrs. Larson’s room at 7:50. We will share all the information you need to know about Walk A Mile and there will be a sign up for T-shirts and for riding the bus to Kokomo. You can turn in your money at this meeting. If you arrive to school after 7:50am, go to Mrs. Larson’s room as soon as you get to school for the information and she will write you a pass to class. This is a very important meeting!

*Reminder: Super Smash Brothers try-outs will be held today, after school in the high school computer lab until 4:15. The final team will include four starters and three alternates. If you can’t make it today but still wish to try out, please talk to Mr. Ritter.

Suckers are being sold for one dollar each and proceeds are going towards the Walk A Mile Fundraiser and other community outreach efforts. Stop by the Key Club table in the cafeteria during lunch to get yours today! Buy something sweet for your sweet tooth or your sweetie!

*Eastern High School and Middle School staff and students: Join the Eastern Middle School/High School team for this year’s Walk A Mile for the Rescue Mission.  Eastern has raised more money than any other school in the past few years and we want to keep the honor of the big pink shoe trophy!  See Mrs. Larson or Mrs. Roach for an envelope and details to participate.

*Spanish Club and SADD- our big dessert fundraiser is this Saturday at the basketball game. Bring your desserts this week to Mrs. Larson’s class. This fundraiser helps support Walk A Mile on February 22.  Get your donations now and turn them in by February 19 to Mrs. Larson or Mrs. Roach.

*The Lady Comets swim team had a great night at sectional prelims last night at Carmel High School. Overall, as a team, the girls had many season best and personal best times. Congratulations to Ava Kantz, Raygan McClain, and Haven Gunderson for advancing to the sectional finals for their individual events. Raygan qualified for consolation finals in the 500 free, and Haven also qualified for consolation finals in the 50 free. Ava Kantz qualified in the championship finals in the 200 free and 500 free. Ava also re-broke her own school record in the 200 free! Great job, ladies!
