* Well, the rumors are true, the Key Club sucker sale has been extended through this week. Come on down and treat yourself while also supporting the Walk A Mile fundraiser.

*Join the library as we are hosting a free concert starring Keyton Romero on Saturday, February 24th at 6:00.  Food will be served and free will donations are accepted.  Please sign up in the library today.

*ALL WALK A MILE PARTICIPANTS:

THERE WILL BE A MEETING FOR ALL WALK A MILE PARTICIPANTS IN MRS LARSON’S ROOM ON TUESDAY AT 7:50AM.  IF YOUR BUS ARRIVES LATE, STILL SEE MRS. LARSON FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU GO TO PERIOD 1.

WE NEED YOUR SHIRT SIZE.  WE NEED TO KNOW IF YOU ARE RIDING THE BUS AND WE WILL GIVE YOU TIMES TO MEET AT SCHOOL OR IN KOKOMO.  WE WILL DISCUSS HOW AND WHEN TO TURN IN YOUR MONEY.

*It’s not too late to show a little love to yourself or another by buying suckers to support the  Walk A Mile fundraiser. Just off the truck we have heart shape suckers as well as sour lips. And there’s almost 30 flavors including cherry cheesecake and strawberry shake! Get yours today for just $1!

* “It’s time to add dodgeball back to your calendars. The rescheduled dates for our Dodgeball Duels are Tuesday February 20th for the Middle School division, and the High School Division will be Thursday February 22nd.  Both events will begin at 6pm. Teams can include both students and teachers, so get your teams together and be sure to turn in your forms no later than Monday February 19th. Forms may be picked up in the athletic office.”

*High school students who are interested in this year’s stage crew for the musical, there will be a call out meeting today in the choir room at 3:30.

*There will be open cages for boys’ golf Monday and Friday from 3:30-4:15. You must have a physical on file to participate. If you are planning to play, please see Coach Lamb this week to get uniform orders submitted.

* The Eastern Key Club will be hosting a valentine’s lip sucker sale from now until the end of the week. They are being sold for one dollar each and proceeds are going towards the Walk A Mile Fundraiser. Stop by their table in the cafeteria during lunch to get yours!

* It’s time to add dodgeball back to your calendars. The rescheduled dates for our Dodgeball Duels are Tuesday February 20th for the Middle School division, and the High School Division will be Thursday February 22nd.  Both events will begin at 6pm. *If you are earning a letter jacket this winter, please stop by the Athletic Office on Monday, Feb. 12, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to be sized for your jacket. The payment for your jacket is due at the time of sizing.

If you THINK you should be earning a jacket but didn’t receive a letter about it, please see Mrs. Woodall in the Athletic Department.”

If you can’t make the meeting, but would like to participate, please see Mrs. Kantz in room 211 upstairs for a season calendar and other info.  Our season officially begins Monday, Feb. 12th!”

*This is National School Counselor Week!  This special week honors school counselors for the important role they play in college and career readiness and in helping students examine their talents, strengths, abilities, and interests. Please take a minute to thank Mrs. Slee, Mr. Johnson and Mrs. Anderson for all they do for you.  They all are very special people and work extremely hard for all students.

*We are painting Spanish tiles and assembling puzzles!  Today and Wed. stay after school to work on a tile or puzzle.  Snacks will be provided but bring your own drink. We will meet from 3:10-4pm on those 2 days.

*Middle school grades 6-8, boys’ and girls’ soccer callout on February 6th, right after school, in the cafeteria, registration forms also available in the middle school office
