*Walk A Mile participants- please check your email with important information about Walk A Mile.  Mrs. Larson needs information from you to finalize our registration.

*There will be an important parent meeting for anyone wanting to play high school boys golf on Wednesday the 25 @6pm in Mr. Lamb’s classroom. Please plan to attend or see Mr. Lamb with questions.

*The boys swim team had a great night at sectional prelims at Carmel High School last evening.  Five boys qualified to swim on Saturday in their individual events.  Returning to swim in the consolation finals are: Hudson Bedwell in the 200 IM, Ethan Heck in the 100 Fly, Reid Shedron in the 100 Backstroke, Caden Kerns in the 200 IM and 500 Free, and Grant Kerns in the 50 Free.  Grant also qualified to return on Saturday in the Championship in the 100 Free with his 8th place finish.  All three relay teams will swim in the Championship finals on Saturday.  Many of the boys also ended their seasons with season best times.  Great job, boys!

*Seniors please make sure to check your email frequently.  This is how you will receive a lot of important information.

*Middle School Track and Field practice will begin this Monday, February 23rd at 3:30. We will meet in the cafeteria before starting practice. If you are currently in a winter sport, including wrestling, swimming, or girl’s basketball, you are not expected to be at practice until your season is over. Reach out to Mr. Hannah if you have any questions.

*Be part of something great- join Eastern’s Walk A Mile for the Rescue Mission team!  Spanish Club, SADD and Key Club are all participating but we would like you to join us.  The event is on Saturday morning, Feb. 28, but we are starting to fundraise now.  This is an event for all staff and students.  For more information see or email Mrs. Larson.

*Attention all high school students, there will be a call out meeting for anyone interested in being on stage crew for the spring musical. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, February 18th right after school in the choir room. We will need lots of help moving things, and making sure the show runs smoothly. If you have any questions, please email Lincoln Mentis.

*Come join us for prayer and donuts tomorrow morning February 18th.  We will meet at 7:45 before school in the swim lobby and anyone is welcome to attend!  Come pray for your families, school, country and those in need!

*Hey Comets! Today’s the day! The Eastern Key Club needs your help to make Eastern’s first ever TEDDY BEAR TOSS a success! Bring any new teddy bear or stuffed toy and during halftime of tonight’s boys basketball game you will throw them on the basketball court. If possible, please keep the new tags on the toys, we will collect them and donate them to local children in need. Cash donations are also accepted. Come help put a smile on a child’s face. See Cora Gunderson for more details.

*Hello Comet nation! The Eastern Key Club needs you!
