*HS students have until Monday, January 12 to fill out the request for schedule change emailed to by Mrs. Slee and Mr. Johnson.

*Middle School student council will be meeting in Ms. Warnock’s room to work on dance items today from 3:15-4:00.

*If you did not receive your report card, please see Mrs. Koziel in the Guidance Office.

*The library will be hosting a Teen Crochet Circle after school on January 21. Bring your own project or learn in the library.  Stop in the library for more information

*The library will be hosting Dungeons and Dragons Club after school on January 13 and 27. Roll dice, create characters and explore exciting worlds in the library.  Register in the library.

*The boys swim team picked up a victory over Lewis Cass last night! The final score was 133 to 43! The boys had some really great swims last night! Individual first place finishes came from Hudson Bedwell, Grant Kerns, Amos Greene, Ethan Heck, Reagan Long, and Reid Shredron.  The boys team also swept all three relays! Great job, boys!  The Comets are back at home next Thursday for Senior Night against Carroll and Delphi! Be sure to come out and support the Comets Swim and Dive teams!

*Any girl interested in playing tennis this spring, we will have a call out meeting today right after school in Coach Heck’s classroom.

*Middle School student council will be meeting in Ms. Warnock’s room to work on dance items tomorrow from 3:15-4:00.

*Attention 7th and 8th grade baseball players.  There will be a middle school baseball call out meeting on Thursday during lunch for any 7th and 8th grade boy interested in playing this spring.

*HS students have until Monday, January 12 to fill out the request for schedule change emailed to you later today by Mrs. Slee and Mr. Johnson.  ONLY if you have a hole in your schedule come to the Guidance Office.  Please make sure you are checking your schedule in Skyward NOT your gradebook for your current schedule.

*Any girl interested in playing tennis this spring, we will have a call out meeting Wednesday, Jan 7^th right after school in Coach Heck’s classroom.

*Middle School Student Council will have their next meeting this week in Ms. Warnock’s room from 3:15-4:00. If you have other obligations with sports, etc., we understand. We hope to see you all there to work on decorations for the dance.

*There will be a boys’ golf callout after school today in Mr. Lambs classroom.

*Students interested in auditioning for the Spring Musical, “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” need to check out all the information in the choir hallway. Auditions are January 5, 7, 8 immediately following Christmas break.
If you have questions, please see Mrs. Evenson before the break. Hope to see many students auditioning!

*The boys and girls swim teams picked up a couple more wins over Frankton and Elwood last night.  The boys beat Elwood 117-47 and they beat Frankton 134-10.  The girls beat Elwood 121-45 and they beat Frankton 131-13.  There were some really great swims last night! Individual first place finishes came from Audrey Higgins, Caden Kerns, Mackenzie Appleton, Grant Kerns, Jocelyn Rogers, Amos Greene, Ethan Heck, Emersyn Moloch, Hudson Bedwell, Kaylee Singleton, and Kolten Melton.  Eastern also swept all three of the relays! Great job, Comets!

*The boys and girls swim teams both picked up big wins against Tipton last night! The final score for the girls was 94-73 and the final score for boys was 128-71.  Individually, first place finishes came from Audrey Higgins, Evan Lapp, Jacob Kerns, Jocelyn Rogers, Ethan Heck, Grant Kerns, Garrett Condon, Mackenzie Appleton, Hudson Bedwell, and Reagan Long.  The girls 400 Free Relay team of Raygan McClain, Emersyn Moloch, Mackenzie Appleton, and Audrey Higgins also picked up the win.  The boys team swept all three relays.  Overall, there were 18 season best times! The Comets swim at home against Elwood and Frankton on Thursday!! Come out and support the Comets!!

*The girls swim team picked up a win against Northwestern last night! The final score was 101-79! There were some excellent swims last night and great time drops! First place finishes came individually from Audrey Higgins in both her events. The 200 Medley Relay team of Mackenzie Appleton, Kaylee Singleton, Raygan McClain, and the 200 Free Relay of Mackenzie Appleton, Jocelyn Rogers, Aubrey Ramer, and Audrey Higgins also picked up wins! Great job, ladies!
