Eastern High School Announcements

Friday, February 27, 2026

*Attention prospective middle school baseball players.  Middle school baseball try-outs will be today, February 27th at 6:45 PM in the Fieldhouse. Please try to have a parent/guardian present for the first 15 minutes.

*If you need a FREE prom dress, shoes or accessories please plan to attend the Fairy Godmother Project on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10 am – 2 pm at the Miami County 4H Fairgrounds.  It is open to all youth attending prom. Please see Mrs. Koziel to obtain verification that you attend Eastern High School.

*Eastern students who will be 15 by May 31st and interested in the Summer Driver’s Ed program must turn in the Driver Information Enrollment form by Friday, March 6. Forms are available in the High School office.

*Any boy who is interested in playing Varsity golf but did not attend needs to see Mr. Lamb before Wednesday March 4 to get important information.

* We will have activities and cookies today in the library from 3-4pm for Pokémon day. Please sign up in the library if you plan to attend.

*There will be an important parent meeting for anyone wanting to play high school boys golf today @6pm in Mr. Lamb’s classroom. Please plan to attend or see Mr. Lamb with questions.

*There will be an important parent meeting for anyone wanting to play high school boys golf on Wednesday the 25 @6pm in Mr. Lamb’s classroom. Please plan to attend or see Mr. Lamb with questions.

*Congratulations to Grant Kerns for setting a new school record in the 100 Freestyle during sectional finals this weekend.  Grant lowered his own record from 49.48 to 49.31.  Congrats, Grant!

*Middle School Track and Field practice will begin today at 3:30. We will meet in the cafeteria before starting practice. If you are currently in a winter sport, including wrestling, swimming, or girls’ basketball, you are not expected to be at practice until your season is over. Reach out to Mr. Hannah if you have any questions.
