*2026 Summer Driver’s Ed information is available in the office for any EHS student who will be 15 years of age before May 31, 2026. Please pick up the information paper from the HS office.
*Middle school student council will be meeting in Ms. Warnock’s room Tuesday from 3:15 to 4:00 to discuss upcoming events including activity night.
*Girls High school Track and Field callout meeting is taking place TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 10TH IN THE CAFETERIA AT 3:30. Please come to get information, season schedule, and make sure you’re on the Team GroupMe.
REMINDER: YOU MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL ON FILE IN THE ATHLETIC OFFICE TO PRACTICE! If you have questions, or can’t make the meeting, please contact Mrs. Kantz.
*On February 11th we will be having a call out meeting for high school boys track and field after school at 3:25 in the cafeteria. Come grab some info regarding the upcoming season as we start the following week. Even if you are in a winter sport, swing by and grab the info so you have it!! Go Comets!!
*Attention Juniors and Seniors – A representative from IU Kokomo will be at Eastern on Tuesday, February 17 at 10:30. If you would like to learn more about IUK, please sign up with Mrs. Koziel in the Guidance Office by Monday, February 16.
*The Eastern Key Club will be hosting a sucker sale from now until the end of the week. Suckers are being sold for one dollar each and proceeds are going towards the Walk A Mile Fundraiser and other community outreach efforts. Stop by the Key Club table in the cafeteria during lunch to get yours today! Buy something sweet for your sweet tooth or your sweetie!
*Winter Homecoming week is February 9-13! The dress up days are as follows:

*Middle School FCS will meet this Thursday in Ms. Carpenter’s room after school.
*The High School Student Council will be hosting a Winter Homecoming/Semi-Formal Dance on Saturday, February 14, from 7-10pm in the High School Cafeteria! Tickets will be $10 and are on sale today. Tickets can be purchased throughout the day from Mrs. Nibert’s room (room 101). Ticket sales will end on Thursday, February 12. No tickets will be sold at the door. Anyone wanting to bring a date from another school/not a current Eastern Student will need to pick up a guest permission form in the high school office. This dance is for high school students only! If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Nibert.
*A phenomenal day for the Comet Command! 22 participants with 20 Golds and 2 silvers who missed gold by only a half a point! Music is alive at Eastern Bands and this director couldn’t be happier! Students receiving gold are Caroline Archer, Bennett Fugett, Madelynn Carver, Coralee Komar , Emma Ailor, Audrey Ailor, Maggie Rife, Zailah Semon, Sid Mathis, Mackenzie Lewis, Greyson Ingle, Greyson Gillam, Olive single, Samara Sommers, Camden Ward, Carson Ward, Bella Miller, Cooper Perryman, Alex Doll, Makenzie Burton, Cece Cramer, and Emily Cass. Silver Medalists are Audrey Ailor and Alexis Linstrom. A special good luck to Will Kuntz, Makayla Armstrong, Nichole King, Claire Rush and Hannah Robinette for qualifying for the state contest on February 28th. Also, a big thank you to Mrs. Amber Adams for helping accompany many of our students. She is a very generous person. Love this band! Good job everyone!
