Eastern High School Announcements

*Any high school girl interested in participating in track and field —who is not participating in a winter sport— we will begin winter conditioning today. Conditioning will be from 3:30 t0 4:30 two times a week. Attendance is not mandatory—but highly recommended. YOU MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL ON FILE WITH THE ATHLETIC OFFICE TO PARTICIPATE! We will meet in the cafeteria and plan on strength training this week. Please see or email Mrs. Kantz with questions!
*Spanish Club- we will have our November meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 12. It will be held in Mrs. Larson’s room from 3:15-4pm. We will be discussing future events, learning a song and making hot chocolate. Hasta pronto!
*Middle School Fellowship of Christian students will be meeting this Thursday right after school in Ms. Carpenter’s room. All middle school students are welcome to come for fellowship and fun.
*Attention Eastern Comet students or teachers, if you are interested in traveling to England and Scotland during Spring Break 2026. The last opportunity to sign up to travel to England and Scotland is December 9. Please see Ms. Carpenter for more information.
*Seniors going on the senior trip… Important planning meeting next Monday night at 7:30 in the cafeteria. Information on dining, packing, plans, rooms, and reservations. Be there – and parents are welcome. This coming Monday at 7:30 pm.
*Come join us for Prayer at the Pole before school on Wednesday morning November 19th. This is open to anyone, and we will meet at 7:45am at the flagpole in front of the school. If it’s cold or rainy we will meet in the pool lobby. Come pray for your school, country, friends, family and those in need.
*Drama Club: Dancers do not need to come to tonight’s rehearsal. Main actors do need to be at rehearsal. Make sure to check your email for further announcements.
*November is National Diabetes Awareness Month. Did you know that over 30 million people in America have Diabetes? That’s 1 of every 10 people in America. Chances are a relative or friend you know lives with this disease. Let’s remember those fighting diabetes this month by wearing a blue ribbon and educating ourselves about this disease.
