*Attention baseball players.  We will have open field today after school.  Please meet at the field at 3:30.

*Winter will be here before you know it, and many children will find it a challenge to keep warm. Key Club is collecting new or gently used coats to help these kids in need.  Totes are located in the high school and middle school offices. All donations will go towards Coats for Kids.

*Attention Juniors and Seniors –  A representative from Manchester University will be at Eastern on Tuesday, September 30 at 9:30.   If you would like to learn more about Manchester University, please sign up with Mrs. Koziel in the Guidance Office by Monday, September 29.

*We’ve got the ducks; you bring the creativity!  Register in the library to reserve your duck.  We’ll be having a contest for the favorite on Tuesday, October 7 after school.  Decorate your duck with a variety of art supplies and show off your favorite fandom!

*Middle School Student Council will be meeting today in Ms. Warnock’s room from 3:15-4:00. If you have other commitments, we understand if you can’t make it.

*Kreed Miller is the winner of yesterday’s college go week trivia. You can stop by Mrs. Slee’s office to grab your prize.

*As CollegeGoWeek rolls on, we should highlight some of our outstanding in-state universities that attract students from all over the world: Indiana University is known for their highly regarded programs in business, informatics, education, and social sciences such as psychology. Purdue University’s reputation is built on their top-ranked programs across multiple disciplines such as engineering, agriculture, computer science, as well as various other STEM fields and the University of Notre Dame—with a highly competitive acceptance rate of 12.4 percent—is known for their programs in finance & accounting, political science, biology, as well as their pre-med track and architecture program. These are just a few of the many public and private colleges Indiana has to offer. Have you given any thought to your future path?
