*Seniors: Please remember to turn in your Senior Survey, the bright yellow form, to Mrs. Koziel.
*Any current 8th grader or high school girl, not in a spring sport, who might be interested in playing basketball next year for the Lady Comets is invited to work out with us this spring. We are meeting Monday, Tuesday, Thursday in the weight room for strength training after school. Mondays, we have open gym after strength from 5 to 6:30. Any questions please contact Coach Murphy at one of those times or stop to see Coach Nile in her classroom.
*Prom tickets are on sale this week. Mrs. Nibert and Mrs. Bickel will be in the cafeteria before school every day this week. If you are taking a guest who doesn’t attend Eastern, you must have a purple permission slip signed before you buy tickets. Senior ticket prices are $25. Junior prices are based on fundraising. No tickets will be sold after Friday.
*Reminder: get your senior fling tickets for $25 in Mrs. Eikenberry’s room before the end of the year! Tickets at the door will be $35.
*Come out and join Eastern Cheerleading. Clinic nights will be April 23rd from 5-7 pm
and April 24th from 5-6 pm. Tryouts will be April 25th @ 4pm. This is for any 6th -12th
grader. You can sign up in the high school office.
*SADD club meeting after school this Friday, in the cafeteria, until 3:45.
*The library is hosting laser tag on Friday, April 25 from 6:00 – 8:00. Please register in the library.
*The National Junior Honor Society meeting has been cancelled for tonight. It has been rescheduled for next Tuesday right after school.
*Attention Juniors and Seniors – A representative from IU Kokomo will be at Eastern on Wednesday, April 30 at 1:45. If you would like to learn more about the IU Kokomo, please sign up with Mrs. Koziel in the Guidance Office by Monday, April 28.
* The National Honor Society is sponsoring their annual blood drive with the American Red Cross on Tuesday, April 29th. Get out of class, get a free t-shirt, and save some lives! Any student age 16 and older is eligible to participate. Sign up on the bulletin board outside of Mrs. Foland’s room.
*Coach Justice would like to say Great Job to the Girls Soccer team.
