*Attention Eastern Comet students or teachers, if you are interested in traveling to England and Scotland during Spring Break 2026. The last opportunity to sign up to travel to England and Scotland is December 9. Please see Ms. Carpenter for more information.
*Seniors going on the senior trip… We will have an important planning meeting next Monday night at 7:30 in the cafeteria. Information on dining, packing, plans, rooms, and reservations. Be there – and parents are welcome. This coming Monday at 7:30 pm.
*Come join us for Prayer at the Pole before school on Wednesday morning November 19th. This is open to anyone, and we will meet at 7:45am at the flagpole in front of the school. If it’s cold or rainy we will meet in the pool lobby. Come pray for your school, country, friends, family and those in need.
*It’s Game Day for the Lady Comets! The girl’s basketball team will travel to Taylor today for a Varsity only game at 6:30.

*Senior Fling Parents will be in during lunch on Tuesday, November 18th to take orders for senior shirts. Shirts are $25 each, and orders will run through Monday, November 25th. Shirts will be available before Christmas, so don’t miss your chance to show off your Class of 2026 pride!
*Today is World Diabetes Day. Did you know that diabetes is a disease in which the body cannot process blood sugars properly leading to other potential health issues? Fortunately lifestyle interventions like diet and exercise, as well as new drug therapies can improve blood sugar control for many people. Global diabetes prevalence has more than doubled in the last 30 years. Please join people all over the world today in raising awareness of this disease and those affected by it.
*Did you know that Jane Austen’s 250th birthday is this year? Come see Drama Club’s production of “Pride and Prejudice” by Jane Austen. Tickets are on sale at https://kepac.ludus.com/. The show will be a wonderful opportunity to support your friends.
